Video: Saint Gobain's Irish technical academy

Written by

Check out this video from Saint Gobain on their technical academy in Kingscourt, Co Cavan. The academy showcases the company's products and provides training in their application. The company said that video is designed to provide an insight into the kind of courses that are available — most of which are free, and contain a mix of theory and hands-on training. Saint Gobain's brands included Isover, Gyproc and Weber.

“With the changes in building regulations, upcoming changes in building control coupled with the introduction of codes of practice, it further emphasises the need for training and up skilling within the industry," said Brian Dolan, managing director of Saint Gobain Ireland. “We hope the YouTube movie explains how we play a part in advancing that goal, as well as giving those interested in up skilling a real feel for what they will learn.”
